Pooja is expert in massage therapy. She will patiently understand the queries, answer based on your requirements. She is very professional and organized. The best part is she is also certified in pediatric therapy. My 5 YO and 8 YO enjoyed their sessions and liked it so much. I definitely recommend Healastic( Pooja). I got a lot of relief from my lower back pain and stiffness.
I had such an amazing experience. I came in with pain in my leg, and the care and attention she gave to that area was incredible she really took the time to understand what was going on and treated it so thoughtfully. By the end of the session, the pain had completely eased. What stood out the most was how comfortable she made me feel throughout. Her energy is calm, professional, and genuinely caring. You can tell she truly wants her clients to feel better, not just physically but overall. I’m so grateful for the experience and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a massage that’s both healing and relaxing.

An honest note on where we are
Healastic is not in Barrhaven. The clinic is at 5511 Manotick Main Street, in Manotick village, and that is the only location. This page exists because Barrhaven residents make up a large part of the client list, not to suggest a second address.
From most of Barrhaven the drive is straightforward: south on Prince of Wales Drive, or out along Strandherd and down Rideau Valley Drive. From Half Moon Bay, Stonebridge and Longfields it is typically around fifteen minutes; from Chapman Mills and the north end of Barrhaven, closer to twenty.
Why Barrhaven clients make the drive
Barrhaven is not short of places to book a massage, so it is fair to ask why anyone would drive past them. The reasons clients give tend to be the same few:
- The same therapist every visit. Healastic is one Registered Massage Therapist, not a rota. Your history and treatment plan carry over instead of being re-explained.
- Unhurried appointments. 60 minutes, including assessment where it is needed, rather than a fixed routine repeated regardless of what has changed.
- Treatments that are hard to find nearby — manual lymphatic drainage and buccal facial massage for TMJ in particular are not offered everywhere.
- Parking that is free and immediate. A small thing until you have circled a plaza lot at 5pm.
Hot stones are included in every massage here, which is unusual as standard rather than a paid add-on.
Getting here from Barrhaven
The clinic is on Manotick Main Street in the village centre, a couple of minutes from Watson’s Mill. Coming from Barrhaven you will cross the Rideau River onto Long Island on the way in — if you reach the mill, you have gone a block too far.
Parking is free and on site, at the Aesthé Medical Aesthetics entrance. Appointments run Monday to Saturday, 8:00am to 8:30pm, so an early slot before work or an evening one after is usually possible without taking time off.

I’m a Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, trained at the International Academy of Massage here in Ottawa, and practising since 2020.
Before massage therapy I worked as a psychotherapist. That background still informs how I assess — persistent tension usually has more behind it than one tight muscle, and treating it without that context tends to buy relief that does not last.
Every treatment is provided by me personally. You will not be passed between therapists.

Usually. Hours are Monday to Saturday, 8:00am to 8:30pm, so early-morning and evening slots are available. Booking is online and shows live availability.
Which treatments are available?
All of them: deep tissue, therapeutic and relaxation with hot stones, Ayurvedic aromatherapy, prenatal, manual lymphatic drainage, head and scalp, abdominal, buccal facial, hand and foot, and paediatric wellness massage.
Will my insurance cover it?
Massage therapy from a Registered Massage Therapist is covered by most Ontario extended health plans. You receive a receipt with the CMTO registration number after every appointment to submit to your insurer. Check your own plan for annual limits.
Insurance & direct billing
Direct billing is coming soon — TELUS eClaims and Green Shield are being set up now, with Sun Life and Pacific Blue Cross to follow.
You do not need to wait for it. Pay at your appointment and I’ll email you a receipt with my CMTO registration number. Submit it to your insurer yourself — it takes a couple of minutes online and you are reimbursed exactly as you would be with direct billing. The money comes back to you instead of being paid to me up front, and nothing about your coverage changes.
